  • What if I don't like certain options when ordering the bundles?
    Please mention in the order what you do not like, and we will do our best to ensure your wishes are fulfilled.
  • How do I "Choose a date and time" on the ordering app?"
    Simply press cancel, and click on the shopping bag icon, on the bottom left of your screen and choose a date and time to your preference.
  • What precautionary measures are you taking against Covid-19?
    We are constantly monitoring and following the Governments guidelines. We continue to practice our high standards of hygiene, as well as implementing extra hand washing, and surface cleansing in between food preperation stages. All food is handled with food safe gloves, whilst wearing protective face masks. Payment is now taken online, and your order will be delivered contact-free, at an agreed location, to comply with social distancing. Your safety is our number one priority.
  • What is your Hygiene Rating?
    We are proud to boast a 5 star hygiene rating, awarded by Watford Council. The report can be seen by visiting: Japes' Kitchen Hygiene Report
  • Is your food Halal?
    All ingredients we use are 100% Halal. We also do not cook any pork on the premises. We are Halal as we believe it is more inclusive for our customers.
  • Do you cater for allergies?
    We label our menus and foods clearly. If you have specific allergies please make it clear at the time of ordering. We can't guarantee that any items are completely allergen free due to being produced in a kitchen that contains ingredients with allergens.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit/debit cards including American Express. For private events please contact us for details.
  • Do you cater for Vegans/Vegetarians?
    We definitely do. We believe there is no better cuisine than Indian food for vegans or vegetarians. Japes' Kitchen is proud to have an extensive choice of foods to enjoy. Check out our menu to see for yourself.
  • Do you cater for large events?
    We understand that every event is different, and special to each of our clients, get in touch with us on our contact page, to see what we can tailor for you and your event.
  • Why are there bits of spices in my food?
    The key to authentic cooking, is using whole spices to enhance the flavours in the food. That is why you may find whole spices in your dish.
  • Why do you only deliver on Fridays?
    We are currently trialling our prepared meals service, and believe a Friday food delivery is a great way to end the week, and make your weekend more enjoyable! We hope to introduce another delivery day in the near future.
  • Will my delivery arrive at that specific time?
    The ordering system allows for a specific delivery time to be chosen, however we cannot guarantee you will receive your delivery at this time, as we have to deliver our orders across London, and follow the planned route.
  • I'd like to make a complaint
    We are extremely sorry that you aren't totally happy with your order. Please get back to us by using the Contact Us page, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
